On Sunday 24 May 2015 BBC4 broadcast “Grimes on the Beach” directed for the screen by Margaret Williams. Tim Albery’s production of Peter Grimes was filmed on Aldeburgh beach at the 2013 Aldeburgh Festival. The cast included Alan Oke as Peter Grimes and Giselle Allen as Ellen Orford and the Britten-Pears Orchestra was conducted by Stuart Bedford. Alexandra Hutton and Charmian Bedford sang the Nieces.
