Wyn Pencarreg - baritone
Winner of the Erich Vietheer Memorial Award from Glyndebourne Festival Opera, Wyn Pencarreg was born in West Wales. He studied at the Royal Northern College of Music gaining many prizes and scholarships including awards from the Countess of Munster trust, the Peter Moores Foundation and the Wolfson Foundation. He continues his studies with David Pollard.

Premières include Papin Babette's Feast for the Royal Opera House, Francis in Julian Grant’s Jump into my sack (Covent Garden Festival), Malcontent in Jonathan Dove’s In search of Angels (Glyndebourne Education) and David Perkins's oratorio Re:Creation at St John's, Smith Square.
Concerts include Messiah with the Ulster Orchestra and at Glyndebourne, Voice of Neptune Idomeneo with the Hallé Orchestra and Ortel Die Meistersinger with the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra. He has broadcast regularly on BBC Radio 3 and on Friday Night is Music Night for BBC Radio 2.
